about

Described by Billboard Magazine as a "Rising star" and by TheNext2Shine music blog as a young musical prodigy with "a voice that exceeds any realm of expectation," Tamir discovered his own unique talent and deeply-rooted passion at an early age.

Studying the arts in Tel Aviv inspired Tamir to begin creating and performing his own music, eventually leading him to form his own eight-piece band and eagerly begin to learn the creative process of writing, composing, arranging, and producing original music. Possessing an old soul and outstandingly distinctive raspy voice, Tamir was naturally drawn to Funk, Blues, and Jazz to find his musical inspiration, marrying his youthful energy with an authentic, vintage sound. The result of this fusion is music that appeals to a diverse audience of any age or generation, with songs such as "Tell me where the light goes" and "Under the water" showcasing his passionate vocal delivery on stage while also exploring his unique songwriting ability that can be described simply as "timeless."

Since he released his first recordings at only seventeen years old, Tamir grew a global fanbase, leading to many concerts and tours in Europe and the US. He performed at events such as the BA City Beats Festival, Kaunas Jazz festival alongside artists like Gregory Porter, John Newman, Jamie Cullum, and more. He also played numerous concerts in his hometown and throughout the country, including appearances at The Red Sea Jazz Festival, The TLV Piano Festival, and many others.

After two intense years of touring in Europe and Israel, Tamir recorded his debut EP – Inwaters. The EP was released on Oct 20th, 2017, through Steel Wool Records and distributed by Kobalt. It garnered attention and was exclusively streamed by Billboard magazine.

Tamir relocated to the US after signing with Steel Wool Management (Anderson Paak, Hayley Kiyoko). He teamed up with Live Nation for a touring development deal and APA as his agency. He released a four-track EP that showcased his time in Los Angeles and the work he did with producers, engineers and musicians like Sam Barsh, Tom Kahr, Cassidy Turbin, and more.

In 2019, Tamir moved to New York to work on his first studio album. However, due to Covid-19, he had to return to Israel. During the pandemic, he utilized his time in Israel to work on his album. He was then invited to participate in Israel's most prestigious music contest - 'The Next Star'. After almost a decade of declining the production's courting, he accepted the proposal. He won the entire contest with unanimous votes from the judges and a majority of the audience's votes.

Following his victory, Grinberg embarked on an extensive nationwide tour across Israel, selling out his first show in less than an hour. He performed in all the major amphitheaters and cultural venues, captivating thousands of fans. Notably, he held three shows at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium, drawing a combined audience of 7,500 attendees, and delivered two special performances at the Tel Aviv Opera House.

In 2022, Grinberg's star continued to rise. He opened for the world-famous band Maroon 5 in Israel, wowing a crowd of 60,000 spectators at Park Hayarkon in Tel-Aviv. Additionally, he collaborated with a number of high-end brands like Mercedes, Armani, and Adidas, as well as major tech companies like Microsoft, AmDocs, and Mobileye. Grinberg's commitment to charitable causes was evident as well. He volunteered and performed at the annual ALS race, graced gala events for Hadassah Hospital and Ichilov Hospital, and made notable appearances at events at the President's house, alongside the American Ambassador, and in the Israeli Knesset for Israel’s Memorial Day Ceremony.

In March of that year, Grinberg's achievements were recognized internationally as he was selected as one of Forbes International's ‘30under30’. He continued to appear in magazine articles, news features, and even the cover story of the esteemed 7 Nights magazine. His song "Tell Me Where The Light Goes" took center stage at the International Maccabiah event at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem, reaching a global audience of 30,000 viewers.

Television continued to be a platform for Grinberg's talents. He graced the finale of the reality singing contest show "The Next Star 2022" at Live Park Amphitheater and performed his hit single "Better" live on the semifinals of the TV show "Dancing with the Stars 2022", leaving an unforgettable mark.

September 2022 brought a momentous celebration for Tamir. With a grand show at Live Park Rishon LeZion, he commemorated his year of accomplishments in front of a 10,000-strong audience. Backed by 12 musicians, he presented unique arrangements of his own creation.

In the following year, Grinberg's presence extended across international borders. He participated in a special gala at the Morgan Library in NYC honoring Lorraine Schwartz, and performed at the Saban Theater in LA, celebrating Israel’s Independence Day. The highlight came in June 2023 when Grinberg triumphed at the legendary Caesarea Amphitheater, captivating 4,000 fans with his performance.

July marked the conclusion of his summer tour, ending on a high note with a captivating performance alongside the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra. His collaboration with conductor and arranger Yaron Gottfried yielded extraordinary renditions of his original songs, further showcasing his versatility.

Grinberg's musical journey was marked by collaborations with esteemed Israeli music icons including David Broza, Idan Raichel, Zvika Pik, and Keren Peles. He even joined forces with international DJ Ofer Nissim for a special holiday event in December 2022, captivating 8,000 spectators and a worldwide viewership.

Amidst all this, Grinberg remained deeply connected to charitable causes. He contributed an original song to the Holocaust Memorial Preservation project 'Zikaron Basalon', honoring survivors' stories. Notably, he also became an ambassador for the Make a Wish organization.

Having released three singles in 2022—‘Better', 'Into The Night’, and ‘Changes’—that reached number one on the charts, and two singles in 2023—‘Roses and ‘Until the End’—that swiftly became radio and streaming hits, Grinberg continues to garner record-breaking success and capture the hearts of a diverse group of listeners. Now, he’s channeling his talents into his debut album, eagerly anticipated for release by the end of 2023.
